Rhythms of the Soul is no traditional band, but a group that focuses on the spiritual use of music. The group was formed as a natural extension of courses on techniques for using drums and voice as spiritual tools. The courses are held in FärgKicken in Avesta, Sweden, a creative workshop for Lasse Ström and Viktoria Nilsson. Lasse is a drum maker and craftsman. Viktoria is a painter.
Their debut release “The Four Elements“ consists of four tracks of drumming, meant for meditations and journeying, and is available both as digital download and as CD.
